Terrential Rains, Wet missionaries, and good times in Guatemala!

So I´m just going to focus mainly on what happened on the big 21st b-day!!! We were told beforehand during the week that we would be having a meeting or reunion with President but they just wouldn't tell us what. Come to find out we were going to go to Xetulul!!!! It's like the equivalent of Disney Land here in Guatemala! But yeah it was pretty cool especially because I got to see Elders Roan, Gawrys, and my kid Hafoka Langi!! It was so much fun to be able to see him again and hang out with a bunch of cool guys!!

Seriously this place was pretty ligit...they even had a life size Mayan temple there with jaguars and everything...so cool. It was pretty cool being able to let lose for a little while and go ride some roller coasters and rides... so cool!! One of the best parts was when we all went to the bumper cars..carros chocones, and when we were all in our cars, we would call out the color of one of the non-missionaries in the ring, like, red shirt gold car, and then the whole time just demolish that guy...they never saw it coming..except one time we did it and we were like, red shirt and the kid looked down at his shirt and started shaking his head, lol, good times good times...man I really love amusement parks!!!

On a sad note though, two of my best buds here in the mission are finishing up their time and heading home this week...Elders Roan and Stevens. Its pretty cool that that get to finally go home and do everything with their families again but at the same time, I´m starting to feel a little older, now all of my buddies that were there in the beginning with me are little by little dieing (going home) and now I´m turning out to be the old guy....HOW'D THAT HAPPEN????

Lol, but yeah, this past week was filled full of great memories that I will always hold close to me!
And I can't help but be completely grateful to the Lord for allowing me to have this great opportunity and meet all of the amazing people that I´ve met. The mission by far...amusement park aside....has been the MOST amazing experience in my life!!!

Love you tons,
Elder Marquis
