...we baptized Jorge Mario...

Dear Family and Friends:

This morning was pretty cool, pretty much the whole zone got together and we went to this place where some old ruins are..nothing like the huge temples up North but for now its still pretty cool to check out.

This past Saturday we baptized Jorge Mario, which was really cool. I really would like to have a baptism every week of the month of January and so far its going to plan. The rest of our fechas still seem to be progressing very nicely.

Something that's really cool is that we actually found this little store that sells poptarts, not by the box but still pretty good, anyways we went there in the first place because we heard they sold Dr. Pepper but no...but we did get to talking to the owner of the place and told her that if she started stocking her store full of MTN dew, dr. pepper, and rootbeer, that about 200 elders would be running from every direction to get ahold of them. So maybe in the next little while we might actually have some of that good stuff in mission Reu, lol.

Not much has really happened besides that though. For the New Years we bought a couple of roman candles and firecrackers, that was fun, but the coolest part was around midnight we climbed up on our roof and everyone in every direction started blowing up all of their fireworks. It was soooooooooo amazing in every single direction you could see those really huge fireworks exploding in all different colors and shapes, so cool, I definitely want to start doing that when I get home for X-Mas and New Years.

That's about it for this past week, fireworks, baptisms, and ruins. Later on today though we will be going to play some baseball which should be fun. Hardly anyone knows how to play down here, all they ever play is fĂștball.

Anyways, love you guys tons,

Elder Marquis
