So this week was interesting. I´ll just tell you the most interesting part was that like two days ago the President of Guatemala flew in on his helicopter and landed in the field right in front of our house which was really wierd. We also had another baptism this weekend for Edson Arroyo which was cool. Oh the other guys want to go. I wll right a little later. sorry, lol.
Questions:
I have been wondering about your suitcases...did the rolling duffels work well for you, or do you wish you would have taken regular suitcases?
Yeah, pretty much I do like those bags but if I could go back I would probably just get some nice big square suitcases. And of course with sturdy wheels.
You talked about getting those tall boots and I see alot of pictures of the other elders in them...can you get them there in your size, or is that something we should look for here for you?
Yeah, I found some here so no worries.
Where did you hear about the "Journal of Discourse of Brigham Young?"
I think I may have that one at home ...if you still want it...let me know..
If you don´t mind sending it, I will take it, if you don´t want to take the chance of losing the book or whatever that´s fine too.
Tell us about your investigators...did Kareen (?) ever come around?
Nah, Kareen is still isn't ready to commit to baptism . We will just go out looking for some new guys.
What was your most interesting contact of the week?
Lol, probably this newly deported guy from the states. Man does he have a dirty mouth, lol. We were just walking by and BOOM he exploded and was like " why are you here go back to the states!" And I was like, I CANT!! Lol, it was kinda funny lol. Needless, to say I think we won´t be visiting him for awhile.
How are you and Elder Mosely feeling this week?
Pretty good. We are going to try to bake a cake and watch "The Testaments" today so hopefully that will work. He´s a funny kid.
Did the kids like their "glow in the dark" bracelets I sent you?
Saber, the office still has my packages, I don´t know when I´m going to get those...but I know they will love them lol.
How is your little branch progressing?
Not half bad, this week we had 60 people attend. And about 20 of them were recent converts and less active members!
